Winter Storms Delaying Next Issue

Friday, February 26, 2021

If you subscribe to just one age group, your packet will mail today, Friday, February 26th. This is a full week delay, so please expect your packet a week later than normal.

If you subscribe to both age groups, your packet will mail on Monday, March 1st. This is a 10-day delay, so please expect your packet to arrive 10 days later than normal.

We say “normal” lightly as the USPS has not been consistent with delivery times in recent months, so it is hard for us to guarantee any kind of delivery times. We are grateful to the mail house for putting in extra effort to get these out and for the postal workers who work rain or shine.

We do not yet have a firm mailing date, but we anticipate the April-June 2021 issues may begin mailing on Monday, March 1, 2021. These are hand inserted into the envelope which means they are labor-intensive and just take time.

Monday, February 22, 2021 UPDATE

Our printer was finally able to successfully deliver material to our mailing house to begin prep mailing. This is a 5 day delay to our normal schedule.

Winter weather has created hazardous conditions across the U.S. and has impacted us directly at our printer and mailing center in Nashville, TN. Our team members are working as hard as they can to try and get your next issue out as soon as possible, but some of these disruptions are simply out of our control.

Delays are expected for the April-June 2021 Issue across the U.S. at this time.

These delays may result in different levels of impact depending on geographic area. Mailings may be impacted even if the origin or destination is not directly impacted by weather due to the transit flows of shipments through the United State’s Postal system and the vast weather impacts across the country.
